From the publication, In Black and White: Prints from Africa and the Diaspora, by Gill Saunders and Zoe Whitley, V&A Publishing, 2013: “Tunde Odunlade is one of the leading figures in the resurgence of traditional African art that  came out of Oshogbo, Nigeria, in the late 1960s. As a visual artist he works with textiles and batik as well as paint and print; he is also an accomplished musician, who plys several instruments and manages his own music and dance troupe.”
