“Sophie Orlando is an Art Historian (Ph D Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), Professor of Contemporary Art History at the National Art School, ENSA Villa Arson in Nice, and Associate Member of the research department << Hisca >>, at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris. She has edited Art et mondialisation : Anthologie de textes de 1950 à nos jours, Paris, Centre Pompidou Publishing, 2013. Her research explores curatorial and artistic practices in the postcolonial era, and she has been awarded the CNAP Bursary for a writing project called Sonia Boyce, pratiques mixtes post 1989.”
